Editor Biography: Adele Tan is Senior Curator at National Gallery Singapore. Her research focuses on modern and contemporary art in Southeast Asia and China. She also lectures in Art History at the National University of Singapore. Her recent curatorial projects include Kim Lim: The Space Between. A Retrospective (2024), the Ng Teng Fong Roof Garden Commission with artists Shilpa Gupta (2023) and Charles Lim Yi Yong (2019), the artist survey LIN HSIN HSIN @speed of thought, and Awakenings: Art in Society in Asia, 1960s to 1990s. She is the lead curator of the revamp of the DBS Singapore Gallery.
