‘The things that are not’
Werk tests the magazine format and process to its extremes –– this issue is a keen example of that. Chronicling 2020 and the Covid headlines, issue #28 was created in collaboration with Eugene Cheong and is subtitled The Things That Are Not.
As ever, a handmade product complete with unique ‘imperfections,’ the issue is made from layers of thick corrugated card. It looks heavy but is very light — an effect emphasised by the lightweight pages wrapped around it carrying the texts.
